Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training

SF Ashtanga is pleased to announce the intensive teacher training program.

Next one to begin March 11 and runs through the 30th, 2012.

Are you interested in deepening your practice, or perhaps making a living teaching yoga? Our teacher training is designed to give you the foundation for both, to grow your practice to the point where you can share with others through teaching.

Our approach is to first work on polishing your practice by breaking down each pose in the primary series, increasing your strength, flexibility, and understanding of each pose. Then, when you are comfortable with your own practice, we will show you teaching techniques that will allow you to share your knowledge with others.

Classes on anatomy and yoga philosophy will round out your skills, transforming you physically and mentally and giving you a deep understanding of the asanas, the physicality behind them, and how they relate to the eight limbs of ashtanga.

Teacher training price is $2,100 for this teacher training beginning March 11th, but will increase to $2,500 for subsequent trainings.
